Synopsis of the show – THE QUEEN: EXTRAORDINARY EXPERIENCES FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD is an interactive show directed towards early childhood (children ages 3 to 6) that invites children to enter the dreamlike, magical and ephemeral world of fables and fairy tales. Dressed in large inflatable and floating skirts from where things come and go, the Queen is transformed and transforms the world and things around her all the time. Children are invited to interact with this Queen and this place through movement, touch, listening, sensitivity and their vision. And so, they can explore sensory experiences with touch, listening, sounds, textures, movement, objects, rhythms and songs that unveil new possibilities in the construction of their play.
Concept of the direction of the show : We want to offer the children and their parents an opportunity to experience the extraordinary and sensitive world of the child at play when she demonstrates affection and empathy for the unknown world and the other. The encounter with the queen in this show is an opportunity for parents to watch their young children in full creation, where the imagination reigns. An artistic and affectionate place for us to experience and observe the many worlds we can create and live through movement, dance and art.

Scenery transportation and equipment & Information on traveling
Type of transport: By Air from Rio de Janeiro. 1 or 2 people traveling. To be negociated
Total weight of Andrea: 1 LARGE SUITCASES with scenery and costumes (23kgs) + 1 suitcase with individual clothes. ( 23kg)
Assembly time: 6 to 8 hours
Local team needed for the queen: 2 lighting technicians for assembly, 1 lighting technician for operation, 1 or 2 technicians for linoleum, curtain, set up and balloons, 1 sound technician for assembly and operation.
Demand for stage access: stage covered with black dance linoleum and possibility of hanging light backdrop curtain ( (background curtain measure of 3.30 height by 6 m wide.)
We use smoke machine, and retro-projector for shadow effect.
Material brought by the company: Costumes. Curtain, scene objects, computer with soundtrack.
Material to be produced locally:
Black linoleum floor
100 Helium gas balloons
50 cushions and mats for public seating
8m or 10m of artificial Grass for seating
1 smoke machine, and 1 retro-projector for shadow effect.
all lighting and sound equipment on technical rider (to be arranged by the local technician and production team)
